The admission process at The Cooking Academy is quite simple. An admissions counselor will always be in touch in order to offer assistance. We recommend you be in touch with one of our admissions counselors to get assistance regarding the program outline, admission criteria, and start dates.

Rules & Regulations

Admission will be subject to the availability of a place, and the admission department is satisfied that the applicant meets the admissions requirements at the relevant time.
Age requirement: An applicant must be 18 years old or above, there is no upper age limit. Unless for a few sponsored programs where the age limit applied is 18 to 40 years old.

English Language: Our courses are conducted in English and students are expected to demonstrate a proficiency in both spoken and written English.

Pre-requisite: Any applicant must submit the mark sheet/transcript or certificate/degree of the required qualification as mentioned in the program admission criteria.

Orientation Day: All new students must attend a mandatory orientation on the date specified by the institute.

Uniform: Students must at all times wear the complete, neat & clean uniform along with the institute identity card issued by the institute. In case of loss or damage of the card, the student must inform the administration to get another card (Charges must be paid by the student as specified by the administration).

Admission Fee

The admission fee is payable and must be submitted with the complete admission form. Payment of Monthly Fee: Monthly fee applications must be submitted directly to the institute before the deadline specified.

Refund: If the student cancels the place before or after the admission or fails to complete the course for any reason whatsoever, he/she shall not be entitled to a refund of all fees paid.

Internship Placement: Internship placement will be subject to the student’s overall performance during the institute i.e. grades, behavior, attitude, extra-curricular activities, motivation, and seriousness.

Fees & Scholarships

The Cooking Academy is committed to supporting motivated students in reaching their potential. As a private institution, we provide a limited number of scholarships for our students. Each scholarship has specific criteria, and eligibility is examined on an individual basis for those students who have submitted an application. A limited number of scholarships are available to assist motivated applicants with their hospitality & culinary studies.

Legacy (Alumni, Friends & Family, Hospitality)

Alumni: For The Cooking Academy Alumni & children of alumni

Any alumni or child of The Cooking Academy alumni is offered a 15% scholarship applying to their program’s monthly fees. Please ensure to mention the full name of the alumnus, the program completed & year of completion.

Friends & Family

The Friends & Family scholarship applies when two or more children or friends enroll in any Diploma program at The Cooking Academy. The second child or friend to enroll will receive a 10% scholarship on the monthly fee. Friends & Siblings do not need to be enrolled at the same time or the same program.

Hospitality

10% scholarship on monthly fees.

The hospitality scholarship applies to students who are either working or have worked in any sector of hospitality.

The following supporting documents must be submitted with the application.

  • Marksheet/Transcript of minimum required qualification.
  • Letter/Statement of interest/purpose.

Merit-Based Scholarships

10%, 15%, 20% & 30% concession on any program’s monthly fee.

  • Students who have got 95% or above in the program’s minimum required qualification can avail 30% concession on a monthly fee.
  • Students who have 85% or above in the program’s minimum required qualification can avail 20% concession on a monthly fee.
  • Students who have got 80% or above in program’s minimum required qualification can avail 15% concession on monthly fee.
  • Students who have got 70% or above in program’s minimum required qualification can avail 10% concession on monthly fee.

The following documents must be provided for Merit-Based Scholarships:

  • Marksheet/Transcript of minimum required qualification.
  • Motivation letter from student.
  • Letter of Recommendation from school, teacher or parents.

Need-Based Scholarship

For assisting needy students and to help ensure that fears about fees do not stop prospective students from Joining The Cooking Academy, we are pleased to offer Need-Based Scholarship of up to 40%. Eligibility is observed on an individual basis during the interview with one of the academic counselors of The Cooking Academy.
